About Kendall County Criminal History

Kendall County criminal records are divided among the sheriff, the trial-court clerks, the Texas Department of Public Safety, the Texas Department of Criminal Justice, and the Texas Public Sex Offender Registry. Reaching the proper custodian first saves time. This privately run resource organizes the official portals, counters, addresses, and phone routes that serve Boerne, Fair Oaks Ranch, and the rest of Kendall County.

Why We Built This Site

Texas offers several public record routes, yet each answers a different question. Kendall County's sheriff maintains jail and agency records. The District Clerk keeps felony cases, and the County Clerk keeps misdemeanor files. Texas DPS operates the statewide public conviction search, TDCJ reports state custody, and the Texas Public Sex Offender Registry publishes the fields state law makes public. The site brings those separate contacts, request steps, fees, and search tools into a county-focused reference.

What You Will Find Here

  • Record routes: how Kendall County court, jail, arrest, and registry records reach the public
  • Official checks: how Texas DPS name searches differ from fingerprint-based review
  • Office contacts: where to reach the sheriff, court clerks, and statewide custodians
  • Record relief: how Texas expunction and nondisclosure differ and where local papers are filed

What We Cannot Do

This is a privately run reference site with no connection to a Texas court, sheriff, police department, or state agency. Its role has firm limits:

  • No certified court document, criminal history, or rap sheet can be issued here
  • The site cannot offer legal advice about a particular charge or proceeding
  • Official checks and individual record retrieval are outside the site's role
  • Record requests, expunction petitions, and other papers cannot be filed for a visitor
  • Published fees, addresses, phone numbers, and office hours may change

Only the issuing sheriff, court clerk, or Texas Department of Public Safety can supply an official criminal record. The document must come from its custodian.

Search Partners

Outside providers power some search boxes. They operate under their own prices, terms, and data practices. A paid signup reached through one of those tools may produce a referral fee that supports the site. Kendall County Criminal History does not set the provider's charges or control its results.
