A name or place entered into a search tool is sent directly to the outside company that operates it. That provider processes the query and returns its result. Kendall County Criminal History does not keep or log those search terms on its own systems.
Messages and Contact Submissions
An email may be retained long enough to respond and manage the exchange. It remains within the operating team unless disclosure is required by law.
Data We Gather Automatically

Kendall County Criminal History does not maintain, compile, or sell a database of personal criminal records. It publishes general directions to the Kendall County sheriff and clerks, the Texas Department of Public Safety, and the Texas Public Sex Offender Registry. Visitor information is not assembled into a consumer report or a record about another person, and the site is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside companies operate the search boxes and apply their own privacy, retention, and sharing terms to submitted data. Those practices are beyond this site's control. Review the provider's policy before running a query.

Links may lead to sheriff, court, Texas agency, legal-aid, or commercial search websites. Once a visitor follows an outbound link, the destination's privacy policy controls that visit. Read those terms before providing personal data.
Advertising providers may use their own systems to measure activity across websites and select ads. Their tracking does not occur in a criminal-record database maintained here.

The website is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect personal information from a person under 18. A verified report of such data will be reviewed for deletion.

The Texas Public Information Act, Government Code Chapter 552, governs requests to Texas public bodies rather than this private website, while Government Code Chapter 411 controls dissemination of official criminal-history information.
