Terms of Use

These terms govern access to Kendall County Criminal History. Visiting a page, reading its material, or submitting a search means the user accepts these conditions. Anyone who does not agree must stop using the website.

NO FCRA USE. This privately operated website has no government affiliation. It and its advertising partners do not offer a service for credit, employment, insurance, housing, or another use regulated by the Fair Credit Reporting Act. Its purpose is to organize Kendall County, Texas record resources. It is neither a private investigation firm nor a consumer reporting agency.

1. What This Website Is

This is a private reference site without ties to a public office. It does not store official records, retrieve case files, conduct official checks, or submit documents for a user.

Its content points to Kendall County's sheriff and court clerks, the Texas Department of Public Safety, and the Texas Public Sex Offender Registry. Some pages also connect users with outside search tools.

2. Rules for Using This Site

Use of the site is conditioned on the following restrictions:

  • Do not interfere with availability or another person's access
  • Do not use bots, scraping systems, or other automated collection tools
  • Do not attempt unauthorized access to systems or data
  • Do not use any information to stalk, threaten, or harass
  • Do not rely on site content for an FCRA-regulated decision
  • Do not violate federal, Texas, or local law

3. No Harassment, Stalking, or Discrimination

Information found here or through a linked tool may not be used to harass, stalk, intimidate, threaten, or discriminate. Such conduct may also be criminal. Texas Code of Criminal Procedure Chapter 62 makes specified registry information public for safety awareness, not vigilantism or adverse action against a listed person.

4. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency

Kendall County Criminal History is not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA. It does not create a credit report, background report, or other consumer report. Site or linked-tool data may not be used to:

  • Set insurance eligibility or premiums
  • Assess creditworthiness
  • Evaluate housing applicants
  • Make an employment decision
  • Carry out any other FCRA-regulated purpose

A regulated background report must come through an authorized, FCRA-compliant channel. Texas DPS official procedures apply where state law authorizes a fingerprint check.

5. No Legal Advice

Site content is general information, not legal advice. A Texas attorney should address how a charge, warrant, conviction, expunction, or nondisclosure rule applies to a specific situation.

6. No Warranties

All content and functions are supplied "as is." No promise is made that:

  • An outside search provider will return a complete or correct result
  • Every page will be free from bugs, mistakes, or security weaknesses
  • Service will always remain available without interruption
  • All published information will be complete, accurate, and current

Charges, dispositions, access limits, fees, and office procedures can change. Gaps and delays are possible. Only the originating Kendall County or Texas office can issue an official statement or certified record.

7. Third-Party Services and Links

Links may open court, sheriff, Texas agency, legal-aid, or commercial search services outside this website. Their operators control availability, content, privacy, and prices. Review the destination's terms before using it.

8. Intellectual Property

Text, graphics, logos, and code belong to Kendall County Criminal History or its content partners. They may not be copied, changed, distributed, or adapted without prior written permission.

9. Limits on Our Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, the operator is not liable for damages arising from use of the website or reliance on a linked service.

10. Indemnification

The user agrees to hold the operator harmless from a claim, demand, or action caused by the user's conduct or breach of these terms, including related legal costs.
